Trenton Freedom News Release
TRENTON, NJ - Freedom head coach Kevin O'Hanlon and his staff will be part of the evaluation team at this Friday's East Preps National Pro Day and Scouting Combine at the Pinelands Sports Center in Southampton.
Dozens of players, many of the best from NCAA Division II and III programs, have signed up for a chance to be evaluated and scouted by all levels of professional football.
"It's a chance for us to look at some players, along with them being looked at by the Canadian Football League and other levels,'' said O'Hanlon. "Our staff has worked with the East Preps people before and they extended an invitation to us to work with them at the Pinelands.
"We're a New Jersey team, and this combine will have a lot of New Jersey players, so it's great for us to be there. "We do all we can to help players move on.''
O'Hanlon is also preparing for his first Freedom camp, which will open March 10.
Both season and single-game tickets are available by calling 1-800-521-FREE (3733) or by going to http://www.trentonfreedom.com/tickets.html. The Freedom open their debut season at 2 p.m. March 30 in the Sun National Bank Center.
In addition to the opener with Richmond, which will make a return visit May 3, the Freedom will welcome Professional Indoor League foes Columbus (April 19), Harrisburg (May 11), Lehigh Valley (May 24) and Albany (June 21).
