Everett Raptors Sign 4 Players to 2012 Roster

Everett, WA - The Everett Raptors have added four players to their roster for the 2012 season. Joining the team are QB Charles McCullum, Stillman College, QB Ryan Ratekin, Southwest Missouri State University, Offensive Lineman John Mobley, Winston-Salem State University, Defensive Lineman Faleaoga Faumui, University of Idaho.
QB Charles McCullum, Stillman College 6' 3" 205 lbs. Charles was Coach Ponder's starting QB for the Seattle Timberwolves in 2011 rushing for 642 yds. and 14 TD's and passing for 2408 yds. with 51 TD's. Charles has been named the IFL's offensive player of the week twice in the last two years. Coach Ponder calls him "One of the most athletic quarterbacks and exciting players in the league."
QB Ryan Ratekin, Southwest Minnesota State University, 6' 2" 204 lbs. Ryan comes to the Raptors after a year as the starting quarterback with the Fairbanks Grizzlies. Ryan passed for 744 yds. and 14 TD's and had 63 rushing yds. and 3 TD's. He led his team to the first Division Championship in franchise history. He is a strong arm, accurate QB who truly is a student of the game.
John Mobley, Winston-Salem State University, 6' 5" 310 lbs. Offensive Lineman. Mobley is playing his second year for Coach Ponder. While playing for the Wichita Wild in 2010, he was named to 1st Team All IFL as an offensive lineman. Ponder says of Mobly, "John has the talent and skill to play in the NFL."
Faleaoga Faumui, University of Idaho, 6' 3" 280 lbs. Defensive Lineman Faumui is also a second year player for Ponder. Last year he had 6.5 sacks and 55 tackles and 1 catch for a TD to his credit and led the Seattle Timberwolves team in sacks. He was voted IFL defensive player of the week once in 2011 and is a great pass rusher who has a knack for finding the football. "He is such a versatile athlete that we can use him on offense as well," says Coach Ponder.
2012 will be the Everett Raptors' first year in the Indoor Football League (IFL). They will play their home games at Comcast Arena in Everett, WA.
