Bloomington Edge News Release
Bloomington, IL. - Through the public discourse relating to Illinois House Bill 4341, the topic of concussions in youth football has been accentuated. A large number of central Illinois parents are looking for information on what concussions are, how they are diagnosed, how they are treated, and what the short term and long term effects are. In response to the public's interest in additional information on this topic, The Bloomington Edge will be hosting a free seminar titled "Concussions in Young Adults". The seminar will take place on Wednesday March 21st in the auditorium at the Chateau Hotel and Conference Center in Bloomington, Illinois at 6:30pm.
The guest speaker for this seminar will be Dr. Amyas Kabir of the Kabir Center for Health. He has been in practice in Bloomington, Illinois for over 20 years and is an expert in the field of human health & wellness. Dr. Kabir has a vast amount of experience in treating both professional as well as young athletes for a wide array of injuries including concussions.
