
Dallas Mavericks Assign A.J. Hammons

FRISCO, TX- The Dallas Mavericks have assigned center A.J. Hammons to the Texas Legends, the Mavericks' NBA Development League affiliate. The assignment is the 20th of the 2016-17 NBA and NBA D-League seasons.
Hammons (7-0, 260, Purdue) appeared in seven preseason games with the Mavericks averaging 4.9 points, 3.4 rebounds. The rookie was selected in the second round (46th overall) of the 2016 NBA Draft and has appeared in two of the Mavericks' six regular season games.
Hammons will join the Legends practice today. The Legends open their season at home this Saturday, Nov. 12 at 7:30pm hosting the Maine Red Claws. For tickets or information visit www.TexLegends.com.
