
Brooklyn Nets Sign Henry Sims to 10-Day Contract

The Brooklyn Nets today signed Henry Sims from the NBA Development League's Grand Rapids Drive.
The signing is the 34th GATORADE Call-Up of the 2015-16 season.
While with the Grand Rapids Drive, Sims averaged 15.8 points and 8.8 rebounds in 30.0 minutes per game in 39 games (37 starts).

Brooklyn, NY - The Brooklyn Nets today announced that they have signed center Henry Sims to a 10-day contract. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not released.
Sims (6'10", 248) has appeared in 121 games (57 starts) in parts of three seasons with New Orleans, Cleveland and Philadelphia, recording averages of 7.8 points, 4.9 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 18.8 minutes per game. Sims spent the 2014-15 season with the 76ers, averaging 8.0 points, 4.9 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 19.2 minutes per game in 73 games (32 starts). The 25-year-old was in training camp with the Phoenix Suns prior to the start of the 2015-16 NBA season, but was waived on October 24. He joined the Grand Rapids Drive of the NBA Development League, where he averaged 15.8 points and 8.8 rebounds in 30.0 minutes per game in 39 games (37 starts). The Baltimore native went undrafted in the 2012 NBA draft after a four-year collegiate career at Georgetown.
Brooklyn's roster now stands at 15 players.
