BlueCats Visit Ohio Valley in Week Fifteen

EVANSVILLE, IN: The Evansville BlueCats (4-8) will take on the Ohio Valley Greyhounds (2-10) in the second game of a 3 game road trip this Saturday night at WesBanco Arena in Wheeling, West Virginia. Saturday's game marks the third meeting between the teams this season, with Evansville winning both of the previous games; 47-24 back on March 31st and Roberts Stadium, and 51-45 on April 28th at WesBanco Arena.
Kickoff for Saturday night is scheduled for 6:00pm (Evansville time) and can be heard live in Evansville on News-Talk 1280 WGBF-AM or live on the web at www.103gbfrocks.com. Jimmie Ford will be on play-by-play, the pre-game show will start at 5:40pm.
The BlueCats enter Saturday's game coming off a 40-30 victory over the Sioux City Bandits last Saturday night. BlueCats running back Ray Kirkley led the way for the Evansville offense with 145 all-purpose yards and 2 touchdowns. Ohio Valley 70-31 to the Rock River Raptors last weekend.
The Evansville BlueCats defense will feature several talented players on Saturday, led by the two most recent recipients of the UIF Defensive Player of the Week award, Deion Holts and Hunter Pingston. BlueCats players have won the award three times in the last four weeks, including defensive back AJ Bryant who claimed the honor following Week 11.
As a team, the Evansville BlueCats defense leads the league with 20 interceptions this season. The defense ranks second overall with 30 takeaways.
