
Axemen Sign Dominic Rufran

Bemidji, MN - The Minnesota Axemen have signed Dominic Rufran for the upcoming 2016 season.
Rufran (Wyoming, 6'0", 188 lbs.) is a wide receiver from The University of Wyoming, with total career stats of 2,487 total yards, 15 touchdowns and 203 career catches. The Colorado Springs native was honored with being apart of the Allstate AFCA Good Works Team in 2014. With only 22 players in the nation selected, the Allstate AFCA Good Works Team honors student-athletes who have worked to positively impact the lives of others. Rufran has volunteered with community services such as: Big Brothers and Big Sisters, Two trips to Haiti to help rebuild after the 2010 earthquake, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and Reading With the Pokes' events. Rufran was also on the Biletnikoff Watch List in 2014 for his second consecutive year. Rufran participated in the Atlanta Falcons Rookie Mini-Camp this past spring.
The Axemen are a third-year member of the Indoor Football League and play their home games at the Sanford Center in Bemidji, Minnesota. Kickoff for the 2016 season is set for Friday, February 26th as the Axemen travel to Sioux Falls. Season Tickets are now on sale and can be purchased online through www.MinnesotaAxemen.com.
