Right-handed relief pitcher Travis Ballew has been transferred to High-A Jupiter. With the Jumbo Shrimp, Ballew had no wins or losses in two relief outings, working a scoreless two innings where he only allowed one hit.

In a corresponding move, right-handed relief pitcher Ryan Beckman has been reinstated from Jacksonville's disabled list to the active roster.
