Toronto FC News Release
Toronto FC announced Friday that midfielders Michael Bradley and Will Johnson are expected to be out of the line-up for six weeks. Bradley has been diagnosed with a knee sprain and Johnson with a tibial plateau fracture.
Bradley's injury came during last Saturday's third place match in the 2016 Copa America Centenario between the United States and Colombia. This season, Bradley has appeared and started in 12 matches with one assist for Toronto FC.
Johnson's injury occurred as he scored late into injury time of the second half in Wednesday night's Amway Canadian Championship final against the Vancouver Whitecaps FC. This season, Johnson has appeared in 18 matches, with three goals and two assists between MLS league play and the Amway Canadian Championship.
