Rail Yard Dawgs Announce "Name The Mascot" Contest

Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs News Release
The Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs announced a "Name the Mascot" contest that will run through Friday, June 10th at 5 PM. The Rail Yard Dawgs mascot, who is sponsored by HomeTrust Bank, is currently unnamed and fans will have an opportunity to submit their choices. One winning submission will be selected by the Rail Yard Dawgs staff and ownership group and the winner will receive 4 tickets to the Rail Yard Dawgs home opening game on October 21st.
"We're ecstatic to have such a good-looking, family friendly mascot and have such a strong company like HomeTrust Bank be the sponsor of it," said Rail Yard Dawgs Vice President Mickey Gray. "We think this naming contest will be a great way to involve our fans with this team and give them a voice in the process."
All fans interested in entering should send their naming suggestions via email to contest@railyarddawgs.com along with their name and phone number included in the email.
