Nighthawks Part Ways With Head Coach

September 1, 2015 - Indoor Football League (IFL)
Wichita Falls Nighthawks News Release

Wichita Falls, TX - The Wichita Falls Nighthawks released Head Coach James Kerwin on August 26th and began searching for a replacement immediately thereafter.

Nighthawks Owner Drew Carnes said, "We feel Coach Kerwin did a great job in the expansion season for the Nighthawks, but felt that we needed a coach that could be committed to Wichita Falls on more of a full-time basis. Necessary family obligations limited the amount of time and focus he could give to the organization and unfortunately the team required a higher level of involvement. James is a highly skilled coach and his track record speaks for itself. We wish him the best of luck in his bright future."

There's no time frame on announcing Kerwin's replacement, but a highly qualified list of candidates is currently being compiled and the Nighthawks plan to act quickly in preparation for the 2016 IFL season. Individuals interested in the position should submit resumes towfnighthawks@gmail.com.
