Canton Charge 5K Race Set for November 14th

The Canton Charge, presented by SecureData 365 and powered by the Cleveland Cavaliers, announced the first ever Canton Charge 5K race, in partnership with runCanton Inc., taking place on Saturday, November 14, 2015.

"We are very excited to tip-off our fifth season with a race through the heart of the city we call home," said Charge SVP/COO Mike Levy.

The race route will begin at 9 a.m. outside of the Canton Memorial Civic Center and take runners through the streets of historic downtown Canton. Participants will return to the Civic Center with a courtside finish in the arena. A post-race reception will be hosted in the Civic Center's McKinley Room.

Registration includes a long sleeve Canton Charge 5K race tech shirt, unique commemorative finisher medal and a voucher that can be redeemed for a ticket to any 2015-2016 Canton Charge home game. Age groups are as follows for male and females. 15 and under; 16-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70-74; 75+. Prizes will be awarded for the top-3 finishers in each age group. Participants can find more information and register at www.charge5k.com.
