San Antonio Stars News Release
SAN ANTONIO (May 17, 2015) - The San Antonio Stars signed guard Sydney Colson and center Porsha Roberts to their 2015 training camp roster, head coach and general manager Dan Hughes announced today. Per team policy, terms of the contracts were not disclosed.
The team also announced that Astou Ndour has been called up to the Spanish National Team for the 2015 European Championships and will not be in training camp.
Colson was originally selected in the second round (16th overall) by the Connecticut Sun in the 2011 WNBA Draft out of Texas A&M University. With the Aggies, Colson played with current Stars forward Danielle Adams and was a part of the 2011 National Championship team. That year Colson averaged 6.1 assists, which ranked in the top 10 nationally and accumulated 221 total assists.

Over her college career Roberts averaged 14.6 points and 7.7 rebounds in 131 career games. During her senior season, Roberts averaged a career-high 17.8 points and 9.3 rebounds in 31 games, and was named the 2015 Southland Conference Player of the Year and 2015 Southland Conference Defensive Player of the Year.
