Regina, Saskatchewan - The Regina Pats (37-22-5-5) tangle with the Brandon Wheat Kings (51-11-4-3) for the final time this season. It's the teams' eighth meeting of the season with the Pats holding a 3-4-0-0 record against the Wheat Kings. Last time out saw Brandon take a 5-3 victory in Regina. St. Patrick's Day

The St. Pats are back for St. Patrick's Day this year. The Blue and White go green to celebrate the one day of the year everyone is at least a little Irish. Fans entering the Brandt Centre can snag a 2014-15 Regina Pats Team Poster courtesy of Western Pizza. The Pats' green jerseys will be auctioned off throughout the night in an exciting new format. Starting with the opening of the doors, the jerseys will be available to bid on through silent auction. At the midway point of the second intermission, each jersey will go through a quick live auction so all bidders have a fair shot at winning their jersey. Brandt Centre concessions will also feature green beer.

Lead Up: Pats Stumble in 4-3 Shootout Loss to Moose Jaw

In front of a sold out Brandt Centre, the Pats jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead on goals from Austin Wagner and Patrick D'Amico. Before the period was out, the visitors tied things up on goals from Torrin White and Brayden Point. The third period saw former Pat Jack Rodewald give the Warriors a 3-2 lead, but it didn't hold up as Adam Brooks tied the game with 2:31 left. Overtime solved nothing and the lone shootout scorer was Rodewald, sending the visitors to a 4-3 win.

Roaring Twenties

Both Patrick D'Amico and Austin Wagner both scored their twentieth goals of the season on Saturday to become the seventh and eighth players to score twenty for the Pats this season (Connor Gay scored twenty before being traded). It's the first time either player has reached the twenty goal plateau.

Looking to Improve

With 84 points, year's edition of the Blue and White sit just one point back of the East Division winning Pats of 2013-14 with three games remaining. The Pats graduated four of their top five scorers from 2013-14 and the only player still remaining from the Pats' top ten in scoring last year is Captain Braden Christoffer. Despite all that scoring moving on over the last year, the Pats have the exact same 257 goals as '13-'14 in three less games. They've also allowed 23 less.

Maintaining Pace

Adam Brooks had a two point night against Moose Jaw to reach 61 points on the season. The Pats' leading scorer is tied for 35th in WHL scoring and sits just one goal shy of his first 30 goal season. Brooks is one of the Blue and White's most disciplined with just 16 PIMs on the season.
