Texas Revolution News Release
Revolution "Rev-Up" to Face Salina
After crushing the North Texas Crunch in the Season Premier, the Texas Revolution are headed to Salina, Kansas to take on the Bombers for their first CIF action of the year.
The Bombers took down CIF foe Wichita, in opening weekend action on the road winning, 64-61 in the Force's inaugural home game.
For the Revs, look for a great running game from Darius Fudge who has a giant and athletic offensive line to pave the way. Also, look to the receiving corp with Brett Reece Jr. on the outside and the towering Demarcus Jenkins.
On defense, Texas has their work cut out for them; Bombers Quarterback Chris Coffin threw for 7 touchdowns to four different receivers. However, as Coffin isn't very mobile, if the Revs defensive line can add pressure their secondary can create opportunities for turnovers. Increasing the odds, ALL IFL performer and franchise player Frankie Solomon Jr. will play returning from a non-football related injury.
The two square off Saturday night with a 7:05 kickoff, the game can be seen on the America One Cable network and heard on the Couch Potato Sports Network with the voice the Revolution, Sonny Clark.
