(Charlottetown, PE) The Island STORM has had a great relationship with Prince Edward Island Schools since the team's inception 4 years ago.
The STORM has made almost 200 school visits over these 4 years by playing with students in the gym, reading to students through our "Reading up a STORM" program, and talking to students about "School Pride" and the "Value of Education".
Since the Island STORM has been welcomed into Island schools by teachers/administrators over these 4 years and with Teacher Appreciation Week coming up from February 9th to 13th, the Island STORM is having a PEI Teacher Appreciation Game on Saturday February 7th at Eastlink Centre when the STORM take on the Moncton Miracles at 7pm.
Some of the features of the STORMs Teacher Appreciation Game include the following:
*The Island STORM is offering each teacher/administrator on Prince Edward Island a free ticket coupon to our Island STORM Teacher Appreciation Game on Saturday Feb 7th . This coupon would also allow the holder to purchase addition bowl tickets at 20% off regular prices for this game.
* The Island STORM would like each school on PEI to have one teacher from their school to represent the school at the game. This teacher would receive a free courtside seat coupon. This coupon would also allow the holder to purchase up to 3 courtside seats at $20 each (plus taxes and fees) while they last, a saving of $25 per ticket. These teachers would be recognized at halftime of our game.
* Every teacher attending the game can put their name on the back of their coupon which they present at the box office for teacher specific draws during the game.
The Island STORM looks forward to seeing Island teachers/administrators at our game on Saturday February 7th so the STORM can say "Thank You"
