P-Nats and Keys Rained out On

Woodbridge, VA- On the same night that former Prince William Cannons LHP Rick Ankiel was inducted as the 10th member of the Potomac Baseball Hall of Fame at Pfitzner Stadium, t he Potomac Nationals (71-53, 33-22) were rained out of a chance to play series Game Two against the Frederick Keys (58-67, 26-32) forcing a doubleheader to be played tomorrow and set to begin at 5:00pm.
The Nationals and Keys will engage in back-to-back seven-inning standoffs on Sunday night before the final regularly scheduled home game of the 2014 season on Monday, August 25th. Gates to The Pfitz will swing open on Sunday night at 4:30pm.
Potomac will pitch LHP Hector Silvestre (1-1, 4.57) in Game One and RHP Ian Dickson (4-8, 4.78) in the nightcap. Frederick's hurlers are to be announced.
The Potomac Nationals Baseball Network, accessible by heading online to www.potomacnationals.com, will provide live broadcast coverage of tomorrow's doubleheader in Woodbridge, VA beginning with the P-Nats Leadoff Show at 4:45pm before the play-by-play at 5:00pm.
Sunday is Bark in the Park Night in which P-Nats fans may bring their dogs to The Pfitz and fireworks will blast off during the post-game.
The P-Nats faithful will also receive 2015 magnet schedules presented by: Farmers Insurance and Jani King, a 2014 team photo giveaway sponsored by: Printing Images, and rally towels presented by: Farmers Insurance, Parkway Smiles Dentistry, Not Your Average Joe's, and My Plumber.
It's also a Virginia529 Savings Sunday in which free grandstand tickets will be distributed at the Potomac Nationals Ticket Office with proof of Virginia529 membership.
Kids 12 and under will receive a free slice of pizza courtesy of Little Caesars Team Dumfries and Haymarket and will race the bases post-game courtesy of Glory Days Grill.
