Aces Announce Home Playoff Dates for Western Conference Semifinals

ANCHORAGE, Alaska - The Alaska Aces announced they are scheduled to open the Western Conference Semifinals (second round) of the Kelly Cup Playoffs with Game 1 on Thursday, May 1 in a set of four home dates confirmed at Sullivan Arena.
The Aces are guaranteed home ice advantage throughout the entire Kelly Cup Playoffs and will face either the #4 seed Idaho Steelheads or #5 seed Colorado Eagles.
The full schedule for the second round, a "best-of-seven" series, is listed below.

The opponent for the second round, times and dates for games 3-5 will be announced soon.
The Aces defeated the Las Vegas Wranglers, 4-0 in the Western Conference Quarterfinals to advance to the second round of the Kelly Cup Playoffs for the 10th time in 11 seasons. The Aces have won two Kelly Cup championships, advanced to the Finals three time and have captured five Brabham Cup titles (best regular season record).
Individual tickets for all second round playoff home games at Sullivan Arena will be on sale beginning Monday, Apr. 28 at the ACES offices. All playoff games will be televised on GCI Channel 1 and carried on radio at 103.7 FM/750 AM KFQD, with Mike Benton handling play-by-play duties. Matt Shasby serves as color analyst while Dave Goldman provides rinkside reports during select simulcasts.

As a reminder, Aces fans are encouraged to celebrate with fun and full support during the Kelly Cup Playoffs and for all future games, and asked to be mindful of adjacent fans by refraining from bringing confetti, including poppers, inside Sullivan Arena. Delays in cleaning of confetti debris, making contact with the ice surface, can result in delay of game penalties to the Aces.
