Strikers Make Final Roster Additions

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL (April 9, 2014) - The Fort Lauderdale Strikers today announced Ronaldo Vieira and Joshua Travagli as the final two players to join the club for the 2014 season . As per club policy, the terms of the deals were not disclosed.
Vieira, 23, signs his first-ever professional contract after being discovered at the Strikers open tryouts in February. After being invited to an invitation-only tryout for further evaluation, Vieira was offered a contract by the club.
Prior to attending the tryouts, Vieira played college soccer at Framingham State and later Sacred Heart University. He was born in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, and grew up in Framingham, Massachusetts. Vieira can play in the midfield and on defense.
Travagli, 18, joins the Strikers after a stint with FC Chiasso in the second division of Switzerland. The Italian-born left back grew up in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil until the age of 14, when his family relocated to New York City.
Vieira will wear the No.28 jersey and Travagli will wear No.16.
