U.S. Soccer Reveals Potential Fourth Round Opponents for Strikers in U.S. Open Cup

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - The Fort Lauderdale Strikers' Open Cup journey could continue to have a Texas theme. U.S. Soccer has released the potential fourth round opponents in the 2013 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup, and the Strikers would either travel to Houston to face the Dynamo at BBVA Compass Stadium or play PDL side FC Tucson. The match would take place on Wednesday, June 12, and should the Dynamo defeat FC Tucson, would pit the Strikers against a third consecutive team from the state of Texas in the Open Cup.
Tickets for the Strikers' third round match against FC Dallas on Tuesday, May 28, are on sale now through the team's web site at www.strikers.com or by calling the Strikers ticket office at 954-404-0600. Fort Lauderdale defeated the Laredo Heat in the tournament's second round on Tuesday, May 21.
The NASL has three other teams (Carolina RailHawks, Atlanta Silverbacks and Tampa Bay Rowdies) still alive in the Open Cup. Below are the potential fourth round pairings for all remaining NASL teams with their third round games and second round results.
