U.S. WNT Head Coach Tom Sermanni to Attend Game Wednesday

Elma, N.Y. (Tuesday, April 30, 2013) - The Western New York Flash have announced that U.S. Women's National Team head coach Tom Sermanni will attend Wednesday's game at Sahlen's Stadium. The Flash will be hosting Sky Blue FC at the 7:05 p.m. weekday match-up.

Sermanni was named the head coach of the U.S. Women's National Team in October of 2012, becoming the seventh coach in team history. Prior to that, Sermanni led the Australian Women's National Team for eight years. In that time, he served as head coach to Flash forward Samantha Kerr.

Sermanni will also be interviewed on the field at halftime of the contest and will be available for media interviews prior to kickoff. Media members who wish to request credentials are asked to contact Jackie Maynard at jackie.maynard@wnyflash.com before the game.
