
Walker Russell Back with Bighorns

Reno, NEV., March 28, 2013 - Walker Russell, Jr. has returned to the Reno Bighorns, the team announced today.
Russell has played in 17 games for the Bighorns this season, averaging 11.3 points, 3.8 rebounds and 7.7 assists per game. He was acquired in a trade with the Fort Wayne Mad Ants on December 27th.
"Reno fans will be excited to come out and watch former Detriot Pistons guard, Walker Russell, Jr. play again for the Bighorns," said Bighorns owner, Herb Santos, Jr. "Walker will help the Bighorns work towards finishing out the season on a winning note."
To make room on the roster for Russell, the Bighorns have deactivated guard Tajuan Porter.
Russell is expected to be in uniform for the Bighorns tomorrow night when they take on the Fort Wayne Mad Ants in Fort Wayne.
