Florence Freedom Release 2013 Promotions Schedule
March 28, 2013 - Frontier League (FL)
Florence Y'alls News Release
FLORENCE, KY - The Florence Freedom are eager to get back onto the field in 2013 after falling just two wins shy of a Frontier League championship last season. And while the on-field product was the talk of the town last September, fans still appreciate the zany and wild promotions we are known for every season.
We are proud to present the Freedom's much anticipated 2013 promotional calendar.
First, fans will notice many changes to the ballpark in 2013, starting with new signage inside and out at the newly named University of Cincinnati Medical Center Stadium. Another HUGE addition is the new Belle Belly Bouncer inflatable bounce house presented by Toyota. This mammoth inflatable stands over 20 feet tall and can be enjoyed all season by kids in the renovated Airheads Kids Zone. The Kids Zone enjoyed a major facelift with the addition of artificial turf to make it safer and cleaner for many seasons to come.
The action during the regular season kick-starts on opening night, Thursday, May 16 at 6:35pm, as UC Health presents the UCMC Stadium Rally Towel giveaway to the first 2,000 fans. This specialty towel will feature the new stadium logo.
Other giveaways this season include:
May 17 - Bicycle helmets for kids presented by Bridges

The familiar weekly themes will differ only slightly in 2013. Fans will love Monday nights, as all tickets, food, merchandise and beer will be absolutely FREE during the regular season. On the other hand, fans may be discouraged to know the Freedom have absolutely ZERO Monday home games during the 2013 regular season.
Great Country 94.1 Family Fun Sundays are once again presented by The Bank of Kentucky. Sundays include an entire team autograph session and kids run the bases post-game. Another special treat will include the Newport Aquarium bringing out animals for families to enjoy each Sunday outside of the July 4th holiday weekend.
ESPN 1530 Community Nights return in 2013 and will be presented by Kentucky 811. Most of these events fall on Tuesdays, but each night benefits unique charities inside Northern Kentucky communities. Florence - June 5
Independence - June 11
Erlanger/Elsmere - June 25
Union - June 27
Alexandria - August 13
Check our web site as the Freedom get closer to the season to see which charity will benefit from each community's night. Also, other communities may be added to the slate.
