
Huntsville's Stuart Stefan Named Easton Player of the Week

HUNTERSVILLE, NC (March 5, 2013) - The Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) today announced Stuart Stefan of the Huntsville Havoc is the Easton Player of the Week for February 25-March 3.
Stefan led Huntsville to a pair of crucial wins last weekend, scoring two power-play goals and adding two assists while going +5 as the Havoc tightened their hold on the final playoff spot.
On Friday, the Delhi, Ontario native scored twice on the power play and added an assist as Huntsville defeated Augusta 6-2. Stuart came back on Saturday with an assist and a +3 rating as the Havoc again won 6-2, this time over the Pensacola Ice Flyers.
Stefan, who currently leads the Havoc with 36 points (10g, 26a), played four seasons for Castleton (VT) State College alongside former Huntsville defensemen Jonathan Lafrance and Omar Pacha. Stefan finished his collegiate career as the school's all-time leading scorer and was named to the All-ECAC East First Team his senior season.
