Augusta RiverHawks News Release
Augusta RiverHawks President and Coach Mark Richards issued the following statement regarding the Auffrey Family:
"Words cannot begin to express the sadness the players, staff, and ownership of the Augusta RiverHawks are experiencing upon learning of the sudden passing of Matt and Whitney Auffrey's son Wyatt. Our thoughts and prayers are with Matt and Whitney at this time, and we are focused on providing whatever support we can to help the family through this difficult time. As we move forward, we will be doing so in accordance with the Auffrey family's wishes. We ask that the public and the media respect Matt and Whitney's need for privacy, and address all requests and condolences through the RiverHawks' front office."
