Williamsport Outlaws News Release

WILLIAMSPORT, PA - - A night after the Williamsport Outlaws looked like they could beat any team in the league, they ran into a hot Danville Dashers squad who handed the Outlaws a 7-2 loss on home ice at Airmen Pond at Historic Bowman Field Friday night.

Danville didn't waste any time getting on the board when Dustin Skinner beat Mike DiLorenzo 31 seconds into the game. Jamie Zaleski would tie it up at the 3:31 mark of the period with a slap shot past Justin Sands at the 3:31 mark of the period. Justin Levac would give Danville the lead with a goal at the 3:33 mark. Danville would lead Williamsport 2-1 after one period.

Danville continued their scoring in the second period with goals from Kevin McCready and Dustin Skinner. Williamsport would get their final tally of the night in the period from Ryan Dolance.

The third period wasn't pretty for the Outlaws as they saw the Dashers score three more times. Jonathan Juliano would score two of those goals and Dustin Skinner would record his hat trick goal in the period as well.

Mike DiLorenzo took the loss, giving up all seven goals while making 41 saves. Justin Sands picked up the win for the Dashers, allowing two goals while making 33 saves.
