
Santa Cruz Warriors Acquire Forward Paul Carter from Idaho Stampede

SANTA CRUZ, Calif. - The Santa Cruz Warriors have acquired NBA D-League veteran forward Paul Carter from the Idaho Stampede in exchange for guard Carlon Brown and a fourth round pick in the 2013 NBA D-League Draft.
Carter, 25, has played nine games this season with the Idaho Stampede, averaging 3.0 points and 2.7 rebounds in 11.3 minutes played per contest. Last season, the 6'8", 200-pound forward averaged 10.8 points and 5.4 rebounds in 34 games. Carter has played in the NBA Summer League with the Atlanta Hawks and was a member of the 2011 Utah Jazz Training Camp roster.
Brown, 21, was acquired by the Santa Cruz Warriors via the affiliate rule after spending time at Golden State Warriors Training Camp this season. He averaged 5.5 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.5 assists in six games with the Santa Cruz Warriors.
