Oklahoma City Thunder Re-Assigns Jones, Liggins and Orton to NBA D-League Affiliate Tulsa 66ers

NEW YORK, Dec. 27, 2012 - The Oklahoma City Thunder today re-assigned rookie forward Perry Jones, guard DeAndre Liggins and center Daniel Orton to the Tulsa 66ers, the Thunders' NBA Development League affiliate. The assignments are a record 75th, 76th and 77th of the 2012-13 NBA and NBA D-League seasons, and is the second assignment for each of these players this year. They are part of the group of 43 NBA players who've been assigned to the NBA D-League this season.

Jones (6-11, 235, Baylor) has appeared in 10 games for Oklahoma City this season while recording averages of 1.2 points and 1.4 rebounds in 7.6 minutes per game. In his previous four-game stint with Tulsa, Jones averaged 11.5 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 30.3 minutes.

Liggins (6-6, 209, Kentucky) has made an appearance in seven games this season for the Thunder recording 3.0 minutes per game. During a five-game assignment with the 66ers, Liggins recorded averages of 11.6 points, 7.2 rebounds and 4.8 assists in 36.4 minutes per game.

Orton (6-10, 255, Kentucky) has made one appearance for the Thunder this season scoring two points in two minutes. Earlier this season he played in nine games on assignment for the 66ers and averaged 11.4 points, 7.9 rebounds and 2.2 assists while playing 30.2 minutes per game.

All three players are expected to join the 66ers today and be available when the team travels to Canton for this weekend's matchups with the Charge on Friday, Dec. 28 and Saturday, December 29.
