FAST AND FURIOUS: The Ice set their season record for fastest two goals in Friday's win over Waterloo when Tyler Pham and Alex Talcott scored just: 13 seconds apart. The all-time franchise record is: 07 seconds and was done on two occasions. Ron Cramer (06-08) and Brent Gwidt (06-09) scored two quick goals on 3/11/08 at Ohio and Mikael Owilli (08-09) and Max Cook (08-10) lit the lamp quickly on 11/8/08 versus Tri-City.

SPECIAL TEAMS "SMOKES": Forward Drew Smolcynski netted another power play assist over the weekend to increase his team-leading special team's production to seven goals and four assists. The second-year Iceman has five power play goals and three power play assists to go along with two shorthanded goals and one shorthanded assist.

BACK FOR "THIRDS": The Ice has struggled all season scoring goals in the third period, but turned it around last weekend with three third period goals in both road wins over Waterloo. Tyler Pham, Alex Talcott and Drew Smolcynski came through in the clutch on Friday, while Mikhail Plotnikov, Smolcynski and Austin Ortega were late game performers on Saturday.

TEAM NOISE: Brian Morgan has nine points (6G, 3A) in his last eight games...Woody Hudson has five points (3G, 2A) in his last five games...Drew Smolcynski has six points (3G, 3A) in his last five games...Peter Hand has six points (G, 5A) in his last five games...Austin Ortega has 11 points (6G, 5A) in his last nine games and is tied for second in the USHL in goals (15)...Dalton Izyk stopped 70 shots in the two wins over Waterloo....The Ice added goaltender Anderson Snair to the roster late last week....He had been playing for the Metro Shipbuilders and he hails from Halifax, Nova Scotia....Indy is 5-6-1 in one-goal games.

ALUMNI JARGON: Adam Phillips (09-10) amassed five points (2G, 3A) for UMass in a weekend set against Colgate...Alexander Kuqali (09-12) scored his first collegiate goal to go along with four total points (2G, 2A) for RIT in two games against Sacred Heart...Nic Dowd (09-10) dished out three assists for St. Cloud in a weekend split with UNO...Scoring goals on the weekend included Kevin Goumas-UNH (09-10), Grant Blakey-Mercyhurst (08-09), Brent Gwidt-UNO (06-09) and Sean Kuraly-Miami (10-12).
