Durham's Team Lose a Tough Game at the Buzzer to the Halifax Rainmen 90-87

(OSHAWA, ON) Durham's team the Oshawa Power fall 90 - 87 to the Halifax Rainmen.

The Power jumped out the gate to an early start using the energy of their bench to grab the first quarter lead 20 - 18. The Rainmen would battle back in the second and third quarters, which set up the fourth and final period up for some dramatics. A buzzer beating three point shot by Quinnel Brown from his own foul line would win the game for the Rainmen.

Bo Harris filled the stats sheet with 16 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Mark Gormillia had his best road game this season, hitting some clutch shots and finishing the game with 16 points and 5 rebounds. Amani Daanish led all scorers with 20 points.

The Power now get set to host the expansion Montreal Jazz, who they defeated 121- 100 on November 29, 2012. Tip-off is set for 7:00 p.m. on December 13, 2012 at the General Motors Centre.
