Toronto Raptors Assign Quincy Acy to NBA D-League Affiliate Bakersfield Jam

December 6, 2012 - NBA G League (G League) News Release

NEW YORK, Dec. 6, 2012 - The Toronto Raptors today assigned rookie forward Quincy Acy to the Bakersfield Jam, the Raptors' NBA Development League affiliate. The assignment is the 35th of the 2012-13 NBA and NBA D-League seasons and the first for Acy, who becomes the 26th individual NBA player assigned this season.

Acy (6-7, 225, Baylor) has appeared in three games for the Raptors this season, averaging 2.3 points, 2.0 rebounds and 7.0 minutes.

Originally selected in the second round (37th overall) of the 2012 NBA Draft by Toronto, Acy played four seasons at Baylor, finishing his NCAA career as just the second player in program history to be ranked in the Top 10 in scoring, rebounding, blocked shots, and field goal percentage. For his efforts, he was named Big 12 All-Defensive Team and All-Big 12 Second Team by the coaches and Honorable Mention All-Big 12 by the media during his senior campaign.

Acy is expected to join the Jam today and be available when the team travels to face the Reno Bighorns on Friday, Dec. 7.

Raptors fans can follow Acy during his time with the Jam on NBADLeague.com powered by YouTube to watch all of the team's games live, online, for free.
