Stampede Fans Can Vote for Best Movember Look

Sioux Falls, SD-The entire Sioux Falls Stampede hockey team has taken part in Movember the entire month of November. The team has narrowed down the field to seven finalists and you now have the chance to vote for the best Movember look! Matt Van Voorhis, Zach Habscheid, Dennis Kravchenko, Ian Mansfield, Ed McGovern, Jan Obernesser and Todd Skirving are all looking for your votes!
Now through 12 PM on Saturday, fans can vote on www.sfstampede.com for who they think has the best look. To vote, simply visit the front page of the website and look for the Movember photos. A poll is located at the bottom of the photos. The finalists will be showcased on the video board during Friday night's home game and the champion will be announced at the game on Saturday.
During November each year, Movember is responsible for the sprouting of moustaches on thousands of men's faces, in the US and around the world. With their Mo's, these men raise vital awareness and funds for men's health issues, specifically prostate and testicular cancer initiatives.
The Stampede return to action this Friday at 7:05 PM against the Des Moines Buccaneers and Saturday against the Lincoln Stars at 7:05 PM. On Saturday, be amongst the first 1,000 fans through the doors and receive a FREE Stampede License plate! Doors open at 6:15 PM.
Saturday is also the Avera "Teddy Bear Toss." Bring a stuffed animal to the game and toss it onto the ice after the Herd's first goal. All of the stuffed animals collected will be delivered to the pediatric unit of the Avera Hospital.
