Camden Riversharks News Release

Camden, NJ - The Camden Riversharks have announced the promotion of long-time general manager Adam Lorber to team president and general manager.

In addition, Lindsay Rosenberg, who has spent the last four seasons in group sales has been promoted to the position of assistant general manager.

Lorber came to the Riversharks in 2003, already as a seasoned veteran in sports management. The University of Miami alumnus had already worked for the Bridgeport Bluefish and Newark Bears of the Atlantic League as well as a three-year stint with the Madison Square Garden Network, developing corporate partnerships for the New York Knicks and Rangers as well as MSG's other broadcast holdings, such as the New York Yankees.

The native of North Caldwell, NJ was the director of corporate partnerships for the Camden franchise from 2003-05, exceeding personal and departmental goals each season. He left for a stretch with the New Jersey Nets but returned to Camden to take the reigns as general manager in 2007.

While at the helm, Lorber has overseen the continued development of the Atlantic League franchise and Campbell's Field, which hosts Rutgers-Camden and St. Joseph's baseball as well. Lorber was named the Atlantic League's top executive in 2009 for his efforts, but his crowning achievement to date may have been the rousing success of the 2012 Atlantic League All-Star Game which was highly praised by fans, league executives and participating players.

"We are really proud of what Adam has accomplished in Camden," said Jon Danos, CEO of Opening Day Partners. "He has overseen the growth of the Riversharks franchise and is very deserving of this next opportunity."

Rosenberg received her Bachelor's Degree in Sports, Entertainment and Event Management from Johnson and Wales University in 2009. While attending school, she had opportunities to work at both Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, MA and at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.

Following graduation, she joined the Riversharks, working her way from an assistant in the group sales department in 2009 to being the department director the last two seasons.

"Lindsay's growth the last four years in the management of our group sales department has been evident," said Lorber. "She has done an outstanding job with our Baseball in Education days, our birthday program, and she was the driving force behind the success of last summer's All-Star Game."
