IceCaps Sign Seven Players to AHL Contracts

St. John's IceCaps News Release
The St. John's IceCaps announced today they have signed seven players to American Hockey League contracts.
The players who signed AHL contracts include goaltender Mark Dekanich, defencemen Derek Meech and Paul Postma, and forwards Aaron Gagnon, Maxime Macenauer, Spencer Machacek and Ben Maxwell.
Training camp for the IceCaps opens on October 1 in Corner Brook, NL. The club will play exhibition games against the Syracuse Crunch in Corner Brook on October 4, Stephenville on October 5 and Clarenville on October 7.
The regular season opens for the IceCaps on Saturday, October 13 when they take on the Springfield Falcons at the MassMutual Center in Springfield, MA.
