
Mill Rats Re-Sign Anthony Anderson

(Saint John, NB): The Saint John Mill Rats are pleased to announcing the re-signing of All-NBL Canada First Team performer, Anthony Anderson.
The 5'11 guard has been a stalwart on the Mill Rats clubs since 2007. Last season in the NBL Canada he garned All-League honors, was named an All Star, and averaged 18.4 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 6.1 assists per game.
"Anthony is definitely our franchise player and we are excited about him coming back for another season," stated Mill Rats President and General Manager Ian McCarthy. "He's an elite player at any level and is our leader in our pursuit of championship."
Mill Rats new Head Coach David Cooper intends to run much of the offense this season through "Double A" as he is known to fans and teammates. "Man I'm so excited to be able to coach a player of Ant's calibur, we are putting the pieces together to make a strong run this year."
The Mill Rats Front Office is currently finalizing its training camp roster and signing players for the upcoming season, and look for more announcements to follow.
The Saint John Mill Rats regular season opener is November 3rd at Harbour Station. Season tickets are on sale now at the Harbour Station Box Office and the Mill Rats Fan Zone in Brunswick Square (next to Tim Hortons).
