Wailuku, Maui, Hawaii, September 8, 2012 - The Valley Isle's only professional sports team, Na Koa Ikaika Maui, is honored to announce that they will be participating in another historic exhibition series against the Ishikawa Million Stars on September 10th and 11th, only this time they will be playing in Ishikawa, Japan, at Kanazawa Shimin Stadium. The two teams played an historic exhibition series on Maui this past summer, July 10th and 11th. The teams were very evenly matched with Maui winning the 1st game 3-2 and Ishikawa winning the 2nd game 1-0. Since the 2012 Season is over, Hawaii Baseball LLC, the parent company of Na Koa Ikaika Maui and the Hawaii Stars, decided to invite some players to come from the Stars to join them on the trip. Those players include Adam Jacobs, Keoni Manago, Dallas Mahan, Roman Martinez, Arnoldo Ponce, Anthony Lopez and Matthew Hibbert as well as their manager, Gary Templeton Jr.

The Ishikawa Million Stars is a Japanese semi-professional baseball team, established in 2007. They compete in the Baseball Challenge League (BCL), an independent professional league in Japan. The entire trip will be documented on video by Dream Tyme Films. Additionally, both games will be re-broadcast back on Maui on Na Koa Ikaika Maui's Flagship radio station, KAOI AM 1110, beginning at 7:00pm on both September 10th and September 11th.
