Lucy's Retired Surfers Bar to Host VooDoo Playoff Watch Party

NEW ORLEANS (July 26, 2012) - Lucy's Retired Surfers Bar, located at 701 Tchoupitoulas Street, will host the New Orleans VooDoo at Philadelphia Soul playoff game watch party on Saturday, July 28. The watch party will start at 5 p.m. and last till the end of the game.
Lucy's will show the VooDoo and Soul playoff game on all in-house televisions via ustream.tv. Once the sun sets, the game will be projected on the wall of a neighboring building for all to see. Lucy's will have drink specials for the watch party, including its very own "VooDoo Juice" for the event. "VooDoo Juice" will be sold at $4 for 12 ounces and at $6 for 16 ounces.
In addition to the watch party, Monogram Express will be giving away 500 VooDoo T-Shirts to all that sign up to win two ArenaBowl XXV tickets. ArenaBowl XXV will be held in New Orleans on Friday, August 10.
"We are very thankful for Lucy's and Monogram Express showing support for the New Orleans VooDoo. Lucy's is not only a great location for families to come to the watch the game, but having the ability to take the streaming feed from Ustream.tv and broadcast it on all of their televisions is huge," said Jon Norris, New Orleans VooDoo General Manager.
Monogram Express will also have its VooDoo SWAT Truck on location, and VooDoo mascots Bones and MoJo will be on hand to help cheer the VooDoo to victory.
