Tampa Yankees Return Home for Eight-Game Home Stand Starting Wednesday

The Tampa Yankees return to George M. Steinbrenner Field Tuesday, July 11th, 2012 for an eight-game home stand. They start off the home stand with a four-game series against the St. Lucie Mets (8-10) followed by a four-game series against the Jupiter Hammerheads (9-7).
The Tampa Yankees offer several promotions and discounts for fans to take advantage of during this home stand:
Wednesday: Kids Night! Kids ages 14 and under will receive a free hot dog, ice cream, and soda with the purchase of a reserved ticket at the GMS Box Office. Game time: 7:00pm.
Thursday: Thirsty Thursday sponsored by ESPN 1040. $1 soda, $2 ice cold 14 oz. draft beer, and $3 bottled beer from 6-8:00pm. Game time: 7:00pm.
Friday: Facebook Friday. Facebook Friends can attend the game for $2. All fans can enjoy $1 sodas, $10 all-you-can-eat chicken wings, and select drink specials on the Tampa Tribune Deck from 6-8:00pm. Game time: 7:00pm.
Saturday: Friends and Family Night. Family 4-Packs are available to purchase for $38 sponsored by Tampa's Lowry Park Zoo. Kids can run the bases from 5-5:15pm, and players will be signing autographs from 5:10-5:30pm. The first 250 fans through the gate will receive the 2012 Tampa Yankees Card Set. Game time: 6:00pm.
Sunday: Blue's Birthday Bash and Humana Silver Sluggers Day. Blue's Crew members can join Blue and his friends for his party sponsored by ABC Pizza. Senior Citizens age 55 and older get a free hot dog, soda, and popcorn with the purchase of a reserved ticket at the GMS Box Office. Game time: 5:00pm.
Monday: When the Tampa Yankees win, you win! If the Tampa Yankees are victorious, all fans in attendance receive a complimentary ticket voucher to attend another 2012 TY home game. If a TY player hits a homerun, one lucky fan will be awarded $25 in T-Bucks compliments of Wells Fargo (up to three winners per night). Game time: 7:00pm.
Tuesday: The Principal Financial Dreams Tour and Luis Sojo Bobblehead Giveaway (first 750 fans). Tijuana Flats 2 for Tuesday: Buy one ticket, get one ticket free and receive a free appetizer coupon to Tijuana Flats. Game time: 7:00pm.
Wednesday : Camp Day. Local summer camps have the opportunity to attend the afternoon game. Kids ages 14 and under will receive a free hot dog, ice cream, and soda with the purchase of a reserved ticket at the GMS Box Office. Game time: 12:00pm.
Tickets are $4 for general admission, $6 for reserved seating and can be purchased at the George M. Steinbrenner Field Box Office.
