KODAK, Tenn. - The Tennessee Smokies, the Double-A affiliate of the Chicago Cubs, conclude their six-game homestand with a three-game series with their in-state rival Chattanooga Lookouts starting on Saturday, July 6 at Smokies Park. Come cheer on the Smokies and have the opportunity to receive a free Smokies cap, chance to win a free Harley and the opportunity to meet Bob Brenly, current television analyst for the Cubs.
The series will kick off on Saturday night at 7:15 celebrating all things red, white and blue on Olympics Night. Make sure to get to the ballpark early as the first 2,500 fans though the gates will receive a free Smokies cap, courtesy of U.S. Cellular and WBIR TV-10. Make sure to stop the Knoxville Harley-Davidson booth for your chance to win a new Harley-Davidson motorcycle on Knoxville Harley-Davidson Night. Following the game will be another postgame tennis ball toss, where fans can win great prizes, sponsored by Fast Frame.
We'll turn things over to the kids for the 5:00 game Sunday, as we let them run the show for the night! It's Food City Family Night, where you can purchase a Slim Jim item from Food City, show the item or receipt at the ticket window, and receive buy one, get one free offer compliments of Food City. As every Sunday, its U.S. Cellular Family FUNday at Smokies Park. Fans can purchase four tickets, four meal vouchers and two Kids Zone wristbands for just $48, thanks to U.S. Cellular.
Monday is all about value with $1 Hot Dog Night and Church Bulletin Night, where fans get $2 off a walk-up ticket purchase (up to four tickets) by bringing in a Sunday church bulletin to the Smokies ticket window for the 7:15 game. During the game fans will have the opportunity to meet World Series Champion skipper and current Cubs television analyst Bob Brenly in the Double Play Café. Make sure to bring your Christmas cheer, as it is Christmas in July at Smokies Park. Every Tuesday is Sevier County night, where if you work or live in Sevier County, you will receive a $2 discount at the Smokies ticket office by showing your ID or pay stub, courtesy of The Mountain Press and Mix 105.5 FM.
Smokies tickets can be purchased at www.smokiesbaseball.com or at (865) 286-2300. Adult field level or bleacher seats are $10/$8. Child (12-and-under) and senior (55+) field level or bleacher seats are $9/$7. Fans buying tickets at least four hours before game time get $1 off each ticket.
