Generals-Smokies Rained out Sunday

KODAK, TENN. (MAY 13, 2012) - The Jackson Generals game this afternoon against the Tennessee Smokies at Smokies Park has been postponed due to rain. The game will be made up on Monday as part of a doubleheader. Game one is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. CT.

The game one starter for Jackson on Thursday will be LHP James Paxton (3-1, 2.60) facing off against RHP Trey McNutt (0-3, 2.66). The game two pitching matchup will featuire RHP Taijuan Walker (3-1, 1.71) for the Generals against RHP Dallas Beeler (0-2, 3.89) for the Smokies.

The Generals have won two straight and are 22-15 on the season, atop the Southern League North standings by a 1/2 game over the Huntsville Stars.
