The Mobile BayBears won their fourth straight game over the Jacksonville Suns with a 2-0 final Wednesday afternoon at The Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville. Alfredo Marte provided all the offense with a two run home run in the top of the seventh inning. The BayBear pitching staff combined for the team's third shutout of the season.

Right-hander Chase Anderson took the mound for Mobile and held the Suns scoreless over six full innings, giving up just four hits and striking out seven to earn his second win. Righty Matt Gorgen entered the game in place of Anderson in the seven inning, allowing just one walk and striking out two in 1.2 innings of work. Left-hander Eury De La Rosa took the mound with one runner on and two out in the eighth inning, retiring the only batter he faced on just two pitches. RIght-hander Evan Marshall picked up his sixth save of the year by tossing a scoreless ninth inning.

Suns starting lefty Taylor Graham held the BayBears to just one hit over the first six innings. Marc Krauss led off the seventh inning with a single, setting the stage for Alfredo Marte with no outs. Marte lifted Taylor's pitch over the right field wall for his eighth home run of the season giving Mobile the 2-0 lead and eventual win.
