Chattanooga, TN - The Mobile BayBears held on for a 7-6 win over the Chattanooga Lookouts at AT&T Field Saturday night. Early runs, supported by strong pitching aided in the win which kept the BayBears atop of the Southern League South division standings. Clevlen scored when Marc Krauss followed with a triple of his own in the next a bat. Matt Davidson and Clevlen added two runs in the third inning off back-to-back RBI doubles, giving Mobile a 5-0 lead. The BayBears added two more insurance runs in the sixth with a two-run home run from Alfredo Marte.

Mobile starting right hander Chase Anderson pitched six innings, allowing two runs on five hits and struck out nine to earn the win. The BayBear bullpen allowed three runs in the eighth inning, but held on for the win after reliever Evan Marshall recorded the last four outs of the game.
