
USHL Clark Cup First Round Western Conference Playoffs Set

Chicago, IL - The United States Hockey League today announced the first-round schedule for the USHL Clark Cup Playoffs in the Western Conference which begins Monday, April 16th.
Victories on Friday night by the Lincoln Stars and Omaha Lancers helped each team secure a bye in the first round of the postseason.
The first round of the playoffs follows a best-of-three games format, matching the #3 seed against the #6 seed, and the #4 seed vs. the #5 seed. Winners of each series advance to play in the second round which follows a best-of-five games format.
The Waterloo Black Hawks clinched a playoff berth for the sixth consecutive season and hold the #3 seed in the Western Conference. They will play host to the #6 seed Tri-City Storm, who make a return to the postseason for the first time since 2010, beginning with Game One of the series on Monday, April 16th at Young Arena in Waterloo.
The Fargo Force have made four consecutive playoff appearances in their four-year USHL history and will carry the #4 seed into the Clark Cup Playoffs. Fargo welcomes the Sioux City Musketeers, the #5 seed who is in the playoffs for the second straight year, for a series that begins on Monday, April 16th at Scheels Arena.
