
Dominic Zamprogna of General Hospital to Come Through Chiefsville

Syracuse, NY - The Syracuse Chiefs, Triple-A affiliate of the Washington Nationals, are pleased to announce that this year's Soap Opera Saturday will feature Dominic Zamprogna from ABC's General Hospital. Mr. Zamprogna will sign autographs on July 28 during the Chiefs game with the Lehigh Valley IronPigs.
Mr. Zamprogna plays the role of Dante Falconeri on the afternoon show. General Hospital is the longest-running American soap opera currently in production.
"Soap Opera Saturday has become a tradition on our promotional schedule that fans look forward to every year," said Chiefs General Manager John Simone. "To have an actor the caliber of Dominic Zamprogna from a show as prestigious as General Hospital lined up for this year's event is very exciting."
Mr. Zamprogna has guest-starred movies including The Boys Club and been part of the cast in the series Edgemont and Battlestar Galactica.

The Chiefs will open the 2012 regular season on Thursday, April 5 at Alliance Bank Stadium against the Rochester Red Wings.
