Aeros lose 5-2

SAN ANTONIO --- David McIntyre scored his tenth goal of the season and added an assist and Jon DiSalvatore scored for the second straight game for the Houston Aeros in a 5-2 loss to the San Antonio Rampage Saturday at the AT&T Center.

Darcy Kuemper made 24 saves for Houston, who is now 21-11-3-9 and remains in second place in the AHL's West Division despite the loss.

Trailing 2-0, DiSalvatore scored his team-leading 14th goal at 18:55 in the second to cut the lead to 2-1, and McIntyre tied it at 2-all on a power play goal at 3:53 into the third period.

The Rampage took a 3-2 lead on a goal by Bill Thomas at 10:55 in the third and made it 4-2 on a goal by Michal Repik at 17:23 in the third. Bracken Kearns added an empty netter 30 seconds later.

Greg Rallo scored a power play goal at 17:16 in the first and James Wright scored 8:52 into the second to give San Antonio the 2-0 lead.

Dov Grumet-Morris finished with 36 saves for San Antonio.

The Aeros return home Thursday to face the Texas Stars at 7:05 p.m. at Toyota Center.
