"Our excitement and anticipation for a great future in the Canton community just continues to grow," said Wes Wilcox, the team's general manager. "In the Edgewood Community Center we have found the right space and amenities necessary to create a great practice and training environment for the team and we look forward to a great partnership with Edgewood."

Edgewood Community Center opened to the public in March 2007 to enrich the Canton community's physical, emotional and spiritual health through fitness, sports, arts, recreation and wellness. The center has available space to meet the team's requirements and the gymnasium can be configured into a regulation NBA court.

"On behalf of our Board, staff and members, we are extremely excited to welcome Canton's new NBA Development League team and make them a part of our Edgewood family," said Denise Allen, executive director of ECC. "Our partnership presents a huge growth opportunity for ECC that will benefit everyone, from children to seniors, who are touched through our programs and services."

The Canton NBA Development League team home opener is on Friday, November 25th against the defending NBA Development League Champion Iowa Energy.
