Portland Sea Dogs News Release
The Portland Sea Dogs have entered the All-Star Break on a high note as the Sea Dogs have won 15 of their last 20 games and have a winning record since June 1st.
The Sea Dogs boast the leagues top offense and fans have once again been treated to watching some of the Red Sox top prospects develop on their way to Fenway. This season we have seen several former Sea Dogs make their Major League debut with the Red Sox including Tommy Hottovy, Jose Iglesias, and Kyle Weiland.
See Tuesday's story in the Portland Press Herald for a recap of the highs and lows of the first half of the season.
Even more importantly, in these tough economic times, the Sea Dogs continue to provide the most affordable proffesional sports entertainment in Maine. Ticket prices range from $4 to $9.
On Wednesday, the five Sea Dogs will participate in the Eastern League All-Star Game. The Sea Dogs return to action at Hadlock Field for a seven game homestand on Thursday, July 14th!
