SALEM, VA - The Salem Red Sox and Military Family Support Center will host Military Appreciation Night at LewisGale field Tuesday, July 19. All members, active or veterans, of any branch of the United States Military and their families will receive free admission to see the Salem Red Sox play the Frederick Keys during the 7:05 p.m. game. There will also be a ballpark-wide discount on beverages for all military members.

"We've teamed up with the Military Family Support Center to help give back to those who have sacrificed so much to protect our way of life," said Salem Red Sox general manager Todd Stephenson. "It's just a small token of appreciation to thank all our brave service men and women and their families."

Cadets will be honored on LewisGale Field at 6:30PM and a children's choir from the support center will be singing a medley of anthems from all 5 branches of the military. Each cadet will be taking an oath and be sworn in to their respective military branch. Each branch will also have displays on the concourse throughout the game.

Complimentary tickets and meals can be reserved by contacting Gerald Brittain with the Military Family Support Center at gbrittain@milfamily.org or 540-400-8301.
