Spain Returns to BayHawks, Ford Waived

Erie, Pennsylvania, Saturday, April 9, 2011 - The Erie BayHawks have reacquired guard Kyle Spain and waived forward Alton Ford due to injury.

Spain had been averaging 8.1 points and 3.5 rebounds per game and will be available for Sunday's playoff series opener versus the Reno Bighorns.

Ford appeared in seven games for Erie and notched a total of seven of points.

Sunday marks Erie's first-ever home playoff game and the first 2,000 fans get a pink "Join the Flock" rally towel sponsored by the American Cancer Society and Erie Cotton Products. Doors open at 4 pm and game time is 5 pm.
