Annapolis, MD - The Chesapeake Bayhawks of Major League Lacrosse (MLL), the premier professional outdoor lacrosse league, have announced that single game tickets for 2011 home games at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium will go on sale at 10 AM on Thursday, April 7th. Individual tickets start at only $15 and can be purchased by calling the Bayhawks at 866-99-HAWKS (42957) or online at www.thebayhawks.com. The Bayhawks will play six regular season home games at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium this year and will host the 2011 Sports Authority MLL Championship Weekend presented by Warrior.
"In 2010 our goal was to reclaim the Steinfeld Cup, and we did just that," general manager Spencer Ford said. "In 2011 our goal is to repeat. During this off season, we have added many talented players to an already very talented team. We expect to host a very competitive and exciting training camp. Our players are ready to defend and give our fans another unbelievable experience."
The 2011 season opener is Saturday, May 14th against the Rochester Rattlers at 7:00 PM at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium. John's Hopkins Pediatric Oncology will be honored during the game and festivities for the day include fireworks, raffles, and the Bud Light Pre-Game Tailgate with beer specials and more. In addition, the Bayhawks and the Greene Turtle will giveaway co-branded rally towels at the home opener to commemorate the 2010 Championship title.
